Due to a powerful swell producing double- to triple-overhead waves on the north coast, the 37th Annual California Bodysurfing Championships, otherwise known as the 2021 Santa Cruz Bodysurfing Contest, was moved to Black’s Point in town (you can view the original contest forecast below). For the contest, the waves ranged in size from a handful of feet to monsters like the one above.
